In Basecamp we genuinely have the best of both worlds. Chalets located in the heart of the Las Trancas mountain village, a 5-minute stroll from all the restaurants, coffee shops, ski/bike rental shops and other local stores, but hidden away from the hustle and bustle, immersed in tranquil native woodland. All three individually decorated cabins are surrounded by breathtaking views of the Andes and a 10 minute drive from Nevados de Chillan / Termas de Chillán .
You will have an entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party. Our accommodation features a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible, including: a log fire, central heating, barbecue grill, free private undercover parking, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
Each cabin also has a private deck for enjoying breakfast al fresco or watching the Andean starry night ski with a glass of Chilean wine in the jacuzzi.

How to book
Please email us for a quote basecamplastrancas@gmail.com with your name, dates and total number of guests or, to make your reservation through airbnb, click on the link in the description of each cabin below.
Check-in / out
Check-in : 16:00hrs - 22:00hrs.
Check-out : 11:00 am.
Contactless check-in / check-out.
Arrivals outside of these times must be pre-authorised as clear instructions will need to be relayed. Unfortunately, late departures are not possible, we have high standards of cleanliness and require sufficient cleaning time between guests.
If you are not able to travel on your selected dates you may be able to change the dates of your reservation (subject to availability and price differences). Requests to change reservation dates must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to arrival. Bookings cannot be amended after this time.
All nights booked at Basecamp will be paid for in full regardless of late arrivals and there will be no refunds given for early departure for any reason whatsoever. Should you fail to arrive on your check-in date, please note that your cabin is not guaranteed and your booking will be cancelled unless you contact us and receive confirmation.
You need to know...
Party groups: As a small, family-run establishment, we take great pride in our high levels of customer service and strive to maintain a serene environment for all our guests. therefore, parties or large gatherings are not allowed on our premises. Our goal is to provide a peaceful escape for everyone to relax and unwind. We appreciate your cooperation in preserving the tranquil atmosphere of our cabins. If you are a party group there are other places to stay in the village that we can recommend.
Pets: We are unable to accommodate guest pets as we already have our own dogs and cats in our premises. We want to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests, including those with allergies or sensitivities. We appreciate your understanding.
Jacuzzi: please note that the jacuzzi is available from December to March and isn't included in the cabin price. If you would like to book the jacuzzi please mention this when you write to us so that we can set it up for you.

Hillside Haven

Sleeps four.
